Our Story
About the Sub Branch
A proud community of veterans, serving members, and supporters — united by a shared commitment to remembrance, welfare, and mateship on the NSW Central Coast.
Who We Are
Part of Australia's Largest Veterans Organisation
The Terrigal Wamberal RSL Sub Branch is a local branch of the Returned Services League of Australia — the nation's largest and most established organisation representing the interests of Australia's defence force community.
We serve veterans, current serving members, and their families in Terrigal Wamberal and across the NSW Central Coast. Our sub branch is a place of belonging — where the bonds of service are honoured and the welfare of our members is always the priority.
From solemn ANZAC Day dawn services to monthly meetings and community events, we work to keep the spirit of remembrance alive while actively supporting those who have given so much in service to Australia.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Remembrance
We honour the service and sacrifice of all Australians who have served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations — ensuring their legacy is never forgotten.
Welfare
Supporting the wellbeing of veterans and their families is at the heart of everything we do — from practical assistance to emotional support and advocacy.
Mateship
The bonds forged through service are lifelong. Our sub branch provides a community where veterans and supporters connect, belong, and look out for one another.
Service
We continue to serve our community through commemorative events, welfare programs, and active participation in the life of Terrigal Wamberal and the Central Coast.
Leadership
Our Committee
The sub branch is led by a dedicated committee of volunteers elected annually by financial members at the Annual General Meeting.

Affiliation
Part of the RSL Network
As a sub branch of the RSL NSW, we are part of a network of over 300 sub branches across New South Wales, all working together to support veterans and their families.
The RSL's mission — to provide care and support for veterans and their families, and to honour those who served — guides everything we do at the local level.
Lest We Forget
The RSL motto reminds us of our solemn duty to remember those who gave their lives in service to Australia. It is a commitment we renew every year at ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them."
— Laurence Binyon, For the Fallen
